For kids currently in Kindergarten!

This co-ed league is designed to introduce basketball to young children in a loosely structured environment. The goal is to promote individual skill development as children learn to become team players. Parks and Recreation will create the teams, however there is an accommodation request form. Each Saturday during the league, kids will participate with their assigned team in a practice with specific skills each week, then play a scrimmage against another team for the last 15 minutes.
~ Games held Saturday mornings at Memorial School Gymnasium!
~ GAME TIMES: 8:00-8:50am, 9:00 - 9:50 am, 10:00 - 10:50am, 11:00 - 11:50 am.
The game times are subject to change in the case we do not have enough kids for 8 teams. The games will be scheduled within the 8:00am - 12 noon time frame!
Medfield Parks and Recreation will supply team jersey's for the league.
--> COACHES WANTED! We are seeking 2 volunteer coaches per team for the league. Please email Kristen at kristentroia@gmail.com if you would like to coach!
As an FYI - we do not differentiate between "head" and "assistant" coaches - both share the same responsibilities and the commitment to be there on a weekly basis. If you have someone you want to coach with, I need an email from BOTH parties stating their intent to coach with you each other.
NOTE: THE SCHEDULE OF YOUR TEAM WILL BE DIFFERENT SOME WEEKS! SCHEDULE WILL BE OUT SHORTLY AFTER REGISTRATION TO SEE HOW MANY TEAMS WE HAVE!
