MEDFIELD YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY
REGISTRATION BEGINS ON Wednesday JULY 10th at 10 am
We are super excited to announce our participation in the Commonwealth Girls Field Hockey League again this fall. Our teams will host games at Metacomet Park and play road games against teams from Attleboro, Walpole, Franklin, Foxboro, Norwood and more!
As part of the league, we will host one weekly practice in addition to the game on Saturday. Weekly practices will take place at McCarthy Park.
We will need at least 14 players on each team to be able to enter the league, and will be able to have a maximum of 18 players. We will only have one team per session (ex, only one team in the 5/6 grade league).
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: WEDNESDAY, JULY 17th! We need to be able to inform the league if we will have a team! The fee this season will be $230. The fee DOES NOT include a game uniform or pinnie. If you ordered a pinnie last season and it still fits you may use it this season. We will have more information on how to order the uniform & pinnie once the team store is set up. The uniforms/pinnies will ship to your home. You have the opportunity to order additional items like sweatshirts etc. in this order as well.
EQUIPMENT
Goggles are optional by the league this year.
Players will also need their own stick, mouth guard, and shin guards. Please have your daughter wear their pinnie to each practice.
PRACTICES
Practices will tentatively start the week of August 26th

GAMES
Games are set to start Saturday, Sept 7th
Home games will be at Metacomet Park, 93 Pleasant Street
The full game schedule will be available around mid-August
