The day camp program is designed to ensure each camper develops their fundamental skills, has fun and demonstrates high levels of sportsmanship. The program incorporates small group play in various formats. These models enhance campers’ ability to play as a team. Join a fun filled week with an energetic, experienced and encouraging set of coaches. Each camper will receive a shirt. (Campers will need to provide their own ball each day at camp.)Board of Health regulations requires each child to have an up to date health form on file. The form requires an up-to-date immunization record, physical and emergency contact information in the event of a medical emergency. New this year, all health forms will be completed and stored in an online database through www.campdoc.com. You will only need to complete the form once (should take about 5 minutes) and upload your child's physical and immunization report to the site.

Laxachusetts Girls Lacrosse and Medfield Parks and Recreation are joining forces to provide a summer program for both NEW AND CURRENT lacrosse players!Our Legacy Lacrosse Summer Clinics are for new and current lacrosse players that want to strengthen their current skills and learn new aspects of the game of lacrosse! Beginners to elite players can expect to be challenged to their fullest potential. These clinics will focus on individual stick work skills, featuring as well as team concepts, attack/defensive strategies and small sided games with fun competitions! All Clinics are run by Laxachusetts Girls Staff as well as talented current college players ! All third grade through rising eight grade players are welcome and all skills/drills split by age and ability.All participants will need to bring a stick, goggles, mouth guard, water, and their intensity!Please note that this is a 4-day program that runs Monday through Thursday, with Friday serving as a potential make-up date in case of rain.

  MEDFIELD GIRLS YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY REGISTRATION BEGINS ON THURSDAY, JULY 7 AT 10AMWe are super excited to announce our participation in the Commonwealth Girls Field Hockey League again this fall. Our teams will host games at Metacomet Park and play road games against teams from Attleboro, Walpole, Franklin, Foxboro, Norwood and more! As part of the league, we will host one weekly practice (grades 3/4) and two practices (grades 5/6 and 7/8) in addition to the game on Saturday. Weekly practices will take place at McCarthy Park. We will need at least 14 players on each team to be able to enter the league, and will be able to have a maximum of 18 players (grade 3-4) and 22 players (grades 5-6 and 7-8) on each team. We will only have one team per session (ex, only one team in the 5/6 grade league).REGISTRATION DEADLINE: THURSDAY, JULY 21! We need to be able to inform the league if we will have a team!The fee DOES NOT include a game uniform. We will have more information on how to order the uniform once the team store is setup.FIELD HOCKEY goggles will be required of all players by the league this year. You cannot wear lacrosse goggles as the referees will not allow those in games. We have field hockey goggles available to anyone that will need them. Cost will be $30. If you are a new player and need a stick and bag, please let Kevin know. Our teams will host games at Metacomet Park and play road games against teams from Attleboro, Walpole, Franklin, Foxboro, Norwood and more! As part of the league, we will host one weekly practice (grades 3/4) and two practices (grades 5/6 and 7/8) in addition to the game on Saturday. Weekly practices will take place at McCarthy Park. We will need at least 14 players on each team to be able to enter the league, and will be able to have a maximum of 18 players (grade 3-4) and 22 players (grades 5-6 and 7-8) on each team.
